My Dream Loot Crate

I was recently contacted but the really lovely team over at Loot Crate. Loot create is a really fun subscription service, each month there’s a different theme and you receive various pop cultural related items based on it. There’s the general Loot Crate, an Loot Anime, a’Loot Gaming and even a Loot Pets! Until the New Year,  they’re running a really awesome project among bloggers – design your own dream loot crate! Ones they enjoy will be featured on their site, and one may even be chosen to become reality.

Ever dream about designing your own monthly subscription crate? Well, your dream might could become a reality. Loot Crate, the pop culture subscription service for geeks, gamers, and fans alike, wants to know what people would do if they could put together their dream subscription crate.

Anyone can participate, so I really encourage all you lovely bloggers to get involved as well! Just choose a theme and some items you would love to have in your crate 🙂

Below each item I’ll be putting the link to where to buy it. I just want to emphasise that this isn’t a sponsored post, it’s just in case one of you lovely readers is interested in an item, you know where to get it 🙂

Again, I just want to emphasise, while I was contacted by Loot Crate, anyone can participate! I’ll send them a link to your post/ give you an email address to send it to 🙂

My Dream Loot Crate – ‘Home is where the anime is’!

As an anime blog, there’s no question that my crate would be filled with all my Otaku needs. My theme ‘Home is here the anime is’ is inspired by my upcoming move. I’ll not only be leaving home, but changing cities & states, moving from Sydney to Melbourne. As I’m planning to move I really wanted to create a new home that I can truly feel relaxed and connected to. Also, following on from how awful 2016 is, I really wanted a space where, just walking into it, I can feel all the TLC that I need! The idea of this crate is to promote the comfort that anime can give viewers.

A Dakimakura!!!

Dakimakura Osomatsu kun.jpg

Okay, y’all know how single I am. So when I get home, after a long day doing my Masters course or work, I wanna hug a beautiful man. Unfortunately, there isn’t any beautiful man in sight. Well, not a 3D one anyway, so I’ll settle for a perfect 2D one. I found this really hilarious one of Osomatsu Kun, on Ali Express, which you can flip over. You can change between the funny version and the gorgeous version – just what I need. But hey I’d be happy with anything I get, I’m even low key hoping for a bit of a NSFW one like this one of Izaya.

Luna and Artemis Plushies!

Luna and Artemis plushies.jpg

Staying true to the site’s name, I’d love these ‘Two Happy Cats’. When I was a kid watching Sailor Moon, I was absolutely in love with Artemis and Luna. I remember watching one of the films (?) where Luna turns into a human and how Artemis was so sad. That was the beginning of my shipping days. But yeah, just seeing these two cuties in my room would just brighten up my day. Found on the Crunchyroll store.

Yuri On Ice Pens

So this one isn’t so much to use at home, but take outside. I can take a piece of my home outside. It’s Yuri On Ice pens! The pens are set up so as you write the characters move to the bottom of the pen, and then when you turn the pen upside down they head back to the top. What a way to get me motivated to write notes in class! There are 4 types of pens, one of Viktor, Yuuri, Yuri and one of all three chilling together! Personally, I’d love the pen with all 3 of the babes. You can check the pictures out closer here –  Found on the Crunchyroll store.

One Piece Body Calendar 2017

One Piece Body Calendar.jpg

Praise this calendar! It’s truly a work of art. Each month you get a new picture of one of the handsome men of One Piece…and Usopp.  What better way to greet the morning then getting a look at Zoro’s or Ace’s beautiful body! Found on CD Japan. But don’t worry, there’s also one of the lovely ladies of One Piece, which you can find here.

      1. Hmm depends…how realistic would it need to be.. O_o? I mean you seemed to keep it within the realm of possibility. Could I pick everything in life that is awesome…or would that be a bit greedy. 🙂

  1. Awesome ideas. I could use this post to help brainstorm my ideas for my own dream loot. I am always tempted to try out the service. Once I get the time, I will gladly share my post with you. 🙂

      1. That sounds like heaven!! I only have one, but I will make it my mission to add more to my collection in 2017!

Hmmm, I dunno. I’m technically ‘on a break” lol but, I might try to get it done before the first.

  3. Wow, your dream loot crate invokes a sense of home as you intended! Great choices.

Here’s to a smooth move! While it may be scary to start living in a different city, I want you to know that I’m here in case you need someone to talk to. But, uh, maybe you’re already acquainted with people in Melbourne and I sound like a fool. Nevermind in that case!

    1. Thank you so much! I’m actually super nervous, I’ve got two friends in Melbourne but both of them live really far away from the CBD (which is where I’m at). Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind ^^!
