300 WordPress Followers Special – Moving, Patreon, OWLS & Facebook

Hiya everyone!

At the time of writing this post I just hit 300 followers, which is incredible! When I first started this blog about 1.5 years ago I never expected to get this far. I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me over this time. I really love reading your feedback on my posts, and just chatting to you 🙂

Moving

So I just moved from Sydney to Melbourne to start my Masters course in Media. It’s been a bit of a crazy 2 weeks, with the 14 hour drive down here and just general setting up.  I just had orientation over 2 days, the first day was a little awful, people are super antisocial but yesterday (the second day) I met some really cool girls. We literally bonded over a hot guy in the year above us, ohmygod just thinking about him makes me blush.  Anyway I hope we can all be really great friends 🙂

I’ve also moved into an apartment with just me and my cat. Expenses are getting a bit tough which brings me to my next topic…

    300 followers!!!! Yay we’re twinsies lolol Congrats on hitting such a huge milestone, here’s to even more followers in the future!

    1. Thank you :)! It is so nerve-wrecking. Not sure if this will help but this is what I do – I try to take notice of what people are wearing/ phone lock screens/ keychains whatever. If it’s something I know I’ll point it out – start a convo, or usually if you compliment a girl on what they were they get really happy 🙂 Otherwise I do this kinda creepy thing (the other person doesn’t realise i do this) but i see someone I wanna be friends with (in a lecture) and I’ll ‘accidentally’ bump into them and then start a convo on whatever the lecture was about. That’s how my socially awkward butt makes friends 🙂
